They install sanitary filters in BCS ports, airports and roads

Last weekend, Governor Carlos Mendoza Davis issued a message through his social networks.

Initially, he pointed out that according to specialists, in a few days, the country will enter scenario 2 of the health emergency that will require greater care.

He pointed out that fortunately, BCS remains free of covid-19, but it is certain that it will come, so he added that it is everyone’s responsibility to prevent a widespread contagion from occurring very quickly, preventing its increase from exceeding the installed capacity of the services of Health.

On the infrastructure that has to face this disease, he explained that there are 17 hospital units:

“132 units of primary health care, with more than 4,800 professionals, including doctors, nursing and laboratory personnel.”

He said that there is a ready and sufficient inventory with more than a thousand hospital beds, of which 125 can be reconverted immediately and 119 clinical ventilators.

He said there are enough reagents for analysis of suspected cases.

On the other hand, he mentioned that as part of the epidemiological surveillance actions, sanitary filters are being installed in ports, airports and roads entering the State:

“Where we will review the body temperature of those who arrive and if we find a suspicious case, we can bring them closer to specialists in the health sector.”

He called on parents to review their children and pointed out that if they are ill, it is better not to send them to schools.

He called not to panic shopping:

“That they affect other families and also the household expenses … If we buy antibacterial gel or any other input, we must acquire only what is necessary, let us not be selfish. Do not cause shortages and a greater risk of contagion by citizens who could not protect themselves with supplies that we have unnecessarily stored. “

He concluded by saying that the State Health Safety Committee is in permanent session and added that he has instructed the creation of a scientific technical committee:

“That he will accompany me all the time to make the best decisions with every opportunity.”
