Easter Leaves 40 million dollars in economic benefits to Baja California Sur

The tourist industry of Baja California Sur closed the Easter season with excellent numbers, which lasted from April 11 to 17, after registering an average hotel occupancy of 80 percent, which represented the arrival of more than 140,000 visitors and an economic spill of more than 40 million dollars, reported the Secretary of Tourism and Economy (SETUE), Maribel Sánchez Collins.

In that sense, she pointed out that this tourist flow was mainly reflected in lodging services, food and tours, local transportation and other lines and economic activities of the chain of tourist services.

To conclude, the head of the SETUE ratified the commitment to continue working hand in hand with the sector so that the entity continues to be a safe and quality destination.
