FITURCA Strengthens Promotion of Los Cabos in Brazil for the MICE and Romance Sectors

The Los Cabos Tourism Trust developed an active promotional agenda in Brazil, focused on positioning the destination as a leading option in the Meetings Industry (MICE) and Romance Tourism segments, during the week of August 4-8.
Among the primary objectives was strengthening relationships with key players in the tourism and meetings industry, taking advantage of the upcoming opening of the new Panama-Los Cabos air route, operated by Copa Airlines and scheduled for December 4, 2025. This connection will allow Brazilian travelers to optimize travel times and arrive in Los Cabos during the day, offering added value for event organizers and tour operators.
The agenda included meetings with leading companies and agencies in the sector such as Copa Airlines Brazil, BCD Meetings & Events, Grupo Befly, Copastur, Ambiental Turismo, MCI Brazil, Travel Idea, Top Service, TP Corporate, and Aeroméxico Brazil. These meetings strengthened collaboration opportunities and showcased Los Cabos’ strengths in infrastructure, connectivity, and operational capacity for hosting personalized events and experiences.
In addition, two specialized events were organized. With the goal of boosting the destination’s Romance Tourism offering, a meeting was held with 20 executives from agencies specializing in weddings and honeymoons. They learned about the wedding hotel offerings, certified local suppliers, DMC (Destination Management Company) services, and the variety of ideal locations for couples’ celebrations. Complementary recreational activities that enrich the visitor experience were also highlighted.
In the Meetings Industry segment, a meeting was held with 30 executives and decision-makers from corporate event and incentive organizing agencies, including firms such as Incentivare, MCI, Top Service, Copastur, Quickly Travel, BCD Meetings & Events, among others. Attendees received detailed information on Los Cabos’ infrastructure for conventions and incentive travel, as well as the destination’s logistical and operational advantages.
This week of work reinforces the Los Cabos Tourism Trust’s commitment to the Brazilian market, consolidating strategic alliances and actively positioning the destination as a trusted and preferred option for the meetings and romance tourism industry.
