Los Cabos Showcases Luxury Offerings and Connects with Global Markets at ILTM Cannes 2025

For the second consecutive year, Los Cabos participated in ILTM Cannes (International Luxury Travel Market), the leading global B2B event for luxury travel, held from December 1-4 in France. As in the previous edition, the destination solidified its position as the sole Mexican representative, reaffirming its status as an international benchmark for exclusive experiences and hospitality.

Representatives from Grupo Velas, Marquis Los Cabos, Viceroy, Nuba DMC, and the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA) attended the Los Cabos delegation, showcasing the destination’s finest accommodations, gastronomy, and specialized services for the luxury segment. In addition, outside the main area, 10 other renowned hotels, including Park Hyatt (which officially announced its opening), Four Seasons, Montage, Auberge, and Zadun Ritz-Carlton Reserve, further strengthened the destination’s presence and diverse offerings.

During the event, the FITURCA team held over 45 meetings with companies from European markets such as the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Austria, and Germany. They also established business connections with travel agents and tour operators from Australia, Japan, and Latin America.

FITURCA strengthened its interaction with key industry players by coordinating exclusive meetings with 20 travel agents, fostering direct and detailed dialogue to present products, unique experiences, and the latest developments in the destination. These meetings not only boosted business but also provided a valuable opportunity to understand firsthand the needs and trends of the global market, with a special focus on premium segments.

“The luxury market represents a strategic opportunity for Los Cabos, currently generating 113,500 room nights annually, with an average rate of $2,489 USD per night and an average expenditure of 57,000 pesos per stay. These figures reflect not only the economic power of this segment, but also its significant impact on the local economy and the sustainable development of the destination,” stated Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of FITURCA.

Los Cabos’ active presence at ILTM Cannes 2025 reflects its commitment to continue positioning itself as a world-class luxury destination, offering unique experiences and high-quality services to discerning travelers from around the globe.
