Doña Pame Conquers FITUR with Machaca Burritos and Flavors of Los Cabos

Lucy Trasviña, representative of the iconic Doña Pame Restaurant in Miraflores, Los Cabos, celebrated the success of her participation in the 2026 International Tourism Fair (FITUR), where her Baja California Sur cuisine captivated visitors from 157 countries.

The restaurant, which recently celebrated its 60th anniversary as one of the region’s most traditional establishments, presented machaca burritos, flour tortillas, damiana tea, damiana liqueur, dried apricots, and mango and guava empanadas. “The Spanish and everyone else were delighted,” Trasviña emphasized, thrilled by the global impact.

Thanks to the support of the authorities, Doña Pame seeks to promote the rural areas of Baja California Sur and its small towns, highlighting its inhabitants as “excellent hosts.” “Los Cabos is in the world’s spotlight,” she affirmed, solidifying the destination as a leading tourist destination.
