Starts direct flight operations from Madrid to Los Cabos with Iberojet

A new flight operated in a state-of-the-art Airbus 350 with 94% occupancy from the Iberojet company arrived at Los Cabos International Airport on Monday, July 18, departing from Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport.
This is the first direct connection between Spain and the tourist destination of Los Cabos, which expects to receive 4,000 tourists from the start of its operations, until the month of September.
This Airbus has the capacity to transport 432 people on a 12-hour flight that arrives directly at Los Cabos, one of the most important international destinations.
Amid mariachis and applause, tourists from various parts of Spain arrived at this tourist destination hoping to live the promised experience.
In addition, the crew members were excited, because, with this new connection, a new gap is opened between Spain and Mexico, maintaining the high demand of European tourism that wants to discover new destinations.
It is worth mentioning that during the inauguration of this important flight, the Secretary of Tourism in Baja California Sur, Maribel Collins, was present, who on behalf of the governor, Víctor Castro Cosío, accompanied the director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda, to the Commercial Director from Grupo Avoris, Gustavo Serrano, Lilcí Orcí, president of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, councilor Roberto Jiménez on behalf of Mayor Óscar Leggs and the director of tourism for Los Cabos, Donna Jeffries, at the ribbon cutting of an inaugural event which represents the continuous rise of Los Cabos as one of the best internationally recognized tourist destinations.
