The Plaza Teniente José Antonio Mijares was the setting for the Halloween Sport Fest 2025, a family event organized by the Los Cabos Municipal Sports Institute (INDEM), in coordination with the Municipal DIF System, the Youth Institute, the Municipal Directorate of Public Relations, and the Water Culture Department.

During the event, hundreds of families enjoyed an afternoon filled with fun, music, and camaraderie, featuring urban dance performances by the Mina School and the traditional footrace, which brought together children, teenagers, and adults in a joyful and family-friendly atmosphere. The Director General of INDEM, Elton Emmanuel Olachea Arce, highlighted the excellent citizen participation and enthusiasm shown during the event, which brought together more than 300 participants in the race and a large number of children who paraded in the costume contest.

He also expressed his gratitude for the support of civil associations, especially the CROC, as well as the municipal departments that collaborated to make this event possible, following Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez’s directive to continue promoting activities that encourage physical activity, recreation, and family unity.

With events like the Halloween Sport Fest 2025, the Los Cabos City Council reaffirms its commitment to the community, strengthening sports, healthy social interaction, and family unity as pillars of social development in the municipality.
