Mexico City, July 8, 2026 – Los Cabos is ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary of a tournament that has become a unique destination in the country. This year, the venue shines once again with the presence of top ATP Tour players such as Czech Jiri Lehecka, No. 14 in the PIF ATP Rankings, Italian Luciano Darderi (No. 16), Argentinian Francisco Cerúndolo (No. 21), Karen Khachanov (No. 22), Briton Cameron Norrie (No. 29), and Canadian Denis Shapovalov (No. 41 and defending champion). The tournament also welcomes back, via wild card, 35-year-old Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, who made his debut at the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo in 2019. Mexicans Rodrigo Pacheco and Santiago González are also ready to be part of the tenth anniversary celebration. They will play doubles together, while 21-year-old Pacheco also received a wildcard into the singles main draw, alongside 17-year-old French prospect Moise Kouame, who had a surprising run to the third round at Roland Garros. From 12,300 attendees and 38 accredited media outlets, attendance has grown to over 35,000 and 67 media outlets in 10 years. To celebrate this growth and this special edition in Los Cabos, several surprises are planned for everyone involved in the tournament, which takes place between July 25 and August 1. "Fuera de Set" (Off Set) is the calendar encompassing all the activities in the renovated commercial area, which is expanding its culinary offerings. As part of its opening in Los Cabos, the Criollo concept, by renowned Mexican chef Enrique Olvera, will delight attendees with its creations.
The activities kick off with Kids Nite on the first day of qualifying, followed by the debut of Wellness Day, along with special music shows featuring Rosalía de Cuba, an 80s & 90s Night, and Karaoke Night. The official parties are a must, starting with the traditional white party at Toro Latin Kitchen before the tournament begins. Meanwhile, Soho House and Bar Marte join the closing festivities by opening new locations in Los Cabos.
Mextenis Talks! is once again part of the agenda, with three days of exclusive conversations with top guests, including the hosts of the sensational podcast Nothing Major. From Thursday to Saturday, John Isner (2021 Los Cabos doubles champion), Sam Querrey (2017 singles champion), and fellow American Steve Johnson will join us for the celebration.
The countdown begins with the unveiling, for the first time, of an official poster that encapsulates the essence of what tennis means for a venue like Los Cabos.
Using the colors of the ATP 250 and inspired by the unique geography of Baja California Sur, the poster evokes the meeting of desert and sea through geometric shapes that depict a landscape marked by its rammed-earth walls and emblematic elements of the region, such as the Arch, native vegetation, and the whales that visit the Sea of Cortez each year.
The Mexican artists, Euri and Arantxa, from a workshop called Fervor focused on aesthetic sensibility, drew inspiration for the poster's composition from the language of Guatemalan painter and sculptor Carlos Mérida (1891-1985).
More than just representing a tennis match, the artwork seeks to convey the spirit of Los Cabos as a place where sport, nature, art, and architecture coexist in harmony, under a sky that can also be interpreted as a tennis ball. “I envisioned it as a collector's item and a visual tribute to one of the most unique settings in international tennis,” commented Euri Lorenzo.
Furthermore, the Cabo Sports Complex (CSC) expands from five to six courts with the addition of a new Court 1, complete with seating for 250 fans—a facility requested by the ATP and the players. It's worth noting that the qualifying rounds offer free admission for all families on Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, the days on which they will celebrate Kids Nite and Family Day, respectively.
Mextenis thanks its new sponsors for their confidence in these first 10 years. This year, Disney Cruise Line, the nutritional supplement Microbiot Fit, and Stanley, the most prestigious brand of thermoses, join the sponsorship.
Single-day tickets are now available. All the special activities that are a key part of the tournament's 10th anniversary celebration can be found at this link:
