Los Cabos Prepares to Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the ATP 250 Tennis Open
Also participating in the meeting were the seventh councilman, Alí Flores Ramírez; Astrid Castañeda, the tournament’s public relations liaison; and representatives of the organizing committee, who discussed the actions that will allow for the development of the tournament, considered one of the most important sporting events in Latin America within the ATP 250 circuit.
During the meeting, José Antonio Fernández emphasized that in 2026 the tournament celebrates its tenth anniversary, solidifying its position as an international benchmark thanks to the collaborative work between the private sector, the various levels of government, and the Los Cabos community. The organizers also announced that the competition will take place from July 25 to August 1 at the Cabo Sports Complex. Admission will be free for the entire community on July 25 and 26, the qualifying rounds, with the aim of introducing professional tennis to those who haven’t yet had the opportunity to attend.
Main draw matches will begin on July 27, and the tournament will conclude on August 1 with the doubles and singles finals. This edition will also feature recreational and family activities.
Finally, municipal authorities reiterated their commitment to continue collaborating in the organization of the event, which strengthens Los Cabos’ international profile, promotes sports tourism, and generates economic benefits for the destination during a key season.
