Seggerman and Trhac Claim Maiden ATP Doubles Title at Los Cabos Open
Americans Ryan Seggerman and Patrik Trhac were crowned doubles champions at the 2026 Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo after defeating the New Zealand duo of Finn Reynolds and James Watt 7-6(4), 6-7(5), 10-8 in the final.
The match, played on Saturday evening at the Cabo Sports Complex in Los Cabos, Mexico, was decided by a hard-fought match tie-break. Seggerman and Trhac—who reached the final without dropping a single set throughout the tournament—saved all five break points they faced and prevailed despite their opponents winning more total points in the match (88-81).
This marks the first ATP Tour title for both players. The pair had already built a strong track record together on the Challenger circuit, amassing 10 trophies, including six in 2024. “It’s a real pleasure playing with someone I’ve known for so long. It’s been a special week winning our first title against two truly great opponents,” said one of the champions.
With this victory, Seggerman and Trhac became the second all-American duo to lift the doubles trophy in Los Cabos, following Robert Cash and JJ Tracy, the 2025 champions.
“It’s a great tournament. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us,” Trhac said after the final.
