BCS business tourism sector recovers gradually and in an orderly manner: Luis H. Araiza

“The business tourism sector of Baja California Sur is recovering gradually and with good results”, mentioned the Secretary of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (SETUES) Luis Humberto Araiza López, also recalling that the entity is on an orange traffic light, that allows 40% capacity in commercial establishments.
The official emphasized that this progress in the reestablishment of economic activities is thanks to the commitment of businessmen and society itself to abide by the health standards and protocols indicated by the State Health Safety Council to face Covid-19.
He also highlighted the joint work that the State government institutions and the Councils themselves have developed in the plenary session of said Council to make decisions by common agreement, aimed at ensuring that the reactivation of the entity is responsible and orderly; prioritizing the welfare of the population.
“Hand in hand with the five municipalities we are implementing the necessary actions for BCS to continue with the reestablishment of its economy and with the recovery of its job stability. It has been hard work and full of challenges, thanks to this close collaboration that the three levels of government have, our state continues to advance, ”said the head of SETUES.
Finally, Luis Araiza ratified the interest and will of the state government, to continue joining efforts with the City Councils as up to today, to evaluate and analyze the situation in each municipality to adopt and design the measures that meet the requirements that each place presents.
