The mayor of the XIV Administration, Oscar Leggs Castro, fired the starting shot at the “BillFish 2021” sport fishing tournament, with a participation of 55 boats and an accumulated amount of $ 700 thousand dollars; This event marks the high season of international fishing tournaments in the municipality of Los Cabos.

In his message, the president of Los Cabos Oscar Leggs Castro, -who was accompanied by the interim delegate of Cabo San Lucas, Carlos Nájera Navarrete, as well as municipal and state authorities-, stressed that this tournament represents the faith and hope that things are working properly in Los Cabos; in the same way, it activates tourism in the area, since there is a wide hotel occupancy in this destination of opportunities.

To conclude, the president of the Foundation for the Conservation of Weevils and coordinator of the tournament, Enrique Fernández del Castillo, reported that this tournament is the only tournament that has a double start, -in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas-, having the objective is to support tourism so that there is a greater economic benefit in the town.
