Preserving traditions is one of the main objectives of the XIV City Council of Los Cabos, therefore, Mayor Oscar Leggs Castro, reported that as part of the festivities of this November 1 and 2, starting at 2:00 in the afternoon There will be alternating, -in collaboration with the Institute of Culture and the Arts (ICA) and Nautical Festivals-, important activities in the Amelia Wilkes square in Cabo San Lucas and in the Historic Center of San José del Cabo, such as contests, presentations artistic performances and the presentation of the show "Altares en el Mar" in the marina of the Sanluqueño port.

“Of course, preserving our traditions is a priority for us and we are going to do it simultaneously, in the Plaza Mijares with the altars for the dead and what is traditional for our people in the historic center of San José del Cabo; Also, here in Cabo San Lucas, on November 1 and 2, we will be alternating to be present in the activities that are carried out, ”said the mayor.

In that sense, he added that being part of these events is of utmost importance, because it is necessary to publicize everything that can be offered, as a result - he said - of being a destination where many cultures of Mexico converge, and altars of Dead at sea, it is something unique, novel and it is perfect that it begins here in Los Cabos.
