The Los Cabos International Film Festival is back home from November 9 to 13, 2022.

With its traditional exhibition space at Cinemex Puerto Paraíso, the eleventh edition of this festival will bring together a selection of the most outstanding and proactive of the latest in North American film production.

Alejandra Paulín, Executive Director of the FICLC: They have been challenging years, of much learning and we are delighted to announce this return to Los Cabos to our natural audience, so that the cinema can be seen on the movie screens, so that we can present the films to the public. in person and well, it's been 11 years, there's a lot of learning behind and today we're really, a lot of surprises, we hope that little by little we'll be announcing everything that's happening and the confirmations that we're having at the festival.

After two years of pandemic, Los Cabos 11 returns to face-to-face mode with great surprises and activities through the Gabriel Figueroa Film Fund

Maru Garzón, Artistic Director of the FICLC: The first surprise is that we have already returned to Los Cabos so we are delighted and then the incredible programming that we always have, fantastic guests, industry activities, parties, experiences, so what we need is the enthusiasm of people, that is crucial.

Eduardo Sánchez Navarro, Founder of the FICLC: Today is a day of great joy because to think that we are returning to the traditional face-to-face festival is something wonderful and with this come many challenges, but what I can tell you is that I am delighted and very grateful to all the people who support it, the sponsors, the municipality, in short, the people who are enthusiastic about cinema, about Mexico and about Los Cabos.

Alfonso Pasquel, President of Los Cabos Arte y Cultura A.C.: The 2 virtual editions were a great challenge but we got ahead because we could not stop having continuity, for me it is a great pride to be able to offer this 11th edition of the festival here in Los Cabos.

The official image of the eleventh edition of Los Cabos Film Fest was also presented, which will be presented to the most distinguished members of the film industries of Mexico, the United States and Canada, consolidating the Festival with its presence and negotiations as one of the most important events in all of America and that also brings together the best of cinema in one place: Los Cabos.

Alfonso Pasquel, President of Los Cabos Arte y Cultura A.C.: Programming is the basis and the people from the industry who come here to the different industry events are fundamental for us, if of course Cinemex is present, Hacienda del Mar, Nobu has always pulled with us, many hoteliers, service providers, of course, GAP helps us a lot.

Maru Garzón, Artistic Director of the FICLC: The festival has become so attractive that many studios are already looking for us even to present their films that they are promoting for the awards season at the festival, so the truth is that it is something that we love it and make us very proud.

The image of Los Cabos 11 for the 2022 edition is in charge of the graphic designer, gloss and advertising creative David Rodrigo Pineda Ortiz and is developed by the illustrator Jorge Pineda Castillo of the post-production house Apix Films and represents the long-awaited meeting of the industry in Los Cabos, laying out a welcome red carpet along which we can walk from wherever we are, to the paradise of Los Cabos, where the cinema, the sun, the sea await us with open doors.
