Meet the cinemaminute of #LosCabos11!
The Los Cabos International Film Festival is preparing for the start of its eleventh edition with the premiere of the cineminuto that will accompany its face-to-face return to movie theaters.
For the second consecutive year, the artist Hugo Payén joins the #LosCabos11 festivities creating this audiovisual piece inspired by Anajicojondi, a representative figure of the Pericú cosmogony, a South Californian peninsular ethnic group that inhabited the region.
In the cinemaminuto we witness the walk of a woman who moves through the waters of the Sea of Cortez on a red carpet that leads her to the luminous portal, through which the unparalleled cinematographic experience will welcome her in this return of the festival to cable screens.
The calm waves of the Pacific, the immensity of the sky and the beautiful light of dawn were digitally recreated in three dimensions by the cinematographer (also a native of Los Cabos) Jorge Pineda Castillo, who in this way managed to capture the essence of the landscape as a faithful reflection of this natural wonder.
