Baja California Sur will be present during the month of December at Punto México, a space conducive to the dissemination of tourism that incorporates technology so that visitors can learn about the tourist attractions, gastronomy, art and culture that are found in the middle peninsula.

On a working visit to Mexico City, to be present at the ceremony that marks the beginning of the South California presence, Governor Víctor Castro Cosío recognized the importance of taking advantage of these spaces, since tourism is the main engine of our economy.

The participation of Baja California Sur in this strategy will allow, in addition to the promotion of natural attractions, a favorable space for the exhibition and commercialization of the diversity of agricultural and fishing products, in addition to learning more about our cultural and artisan expressions.

One of the main interests of the project is to give the visitor the opportunity to travel throughout the Republic in an innovative and palpable way; For this, 102 360-degree tours of the Mexican Republic were developed where the visitor, through a touch screen, can control the images that appear on a video wall and thus be able to travel through Magical Towns, beaches, archaeological sites, museums and nature reserves. in national territory.

In addition, in this place, handicrafts, typical costumes, food and bibliography from all the states of the Republic are permanently exhibited and there is qualified personnel to inform the public of the possibilities of the different destinations. The information is general, but also specific, including places to eat, lodging, activities, museums, flights, roads and everything you need to plan trips to any part of Mexico.
