King Felipe and King Leticia of Spain, inaugurated the 43rd edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in one of the most emblematic venues in Madrid, Ifema, in a colorful tour that will represent the return of world tourism from 18 to 22 January 2023.

Gathering 131 countries, 8,500 professionals of the rank in the world, in addition to 755 established exhibitors, where Mexico stood out by positioning itself as the largest exponent in Latin America with a space of more than one thousand square meters with representatives from 15 states of the Mexican Republic. and more than 250 businessmen from the tourism industry.

The Secretary of Tourism in Mexico, Miguel TorrucoMarques, was pleased to inaugurate this space accompanied by governors of some states, as well as their respective tourism owners, airlines and tour operators.

Miguel Torruco Marques, Secretary of Tourism: "92.5% of the tourism we received was concentrated in 6 places with a tourist vocation: Cancun, Mexico City, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Monterrey, so part of what is being achieved is diversification, for this it is necessary to integrate new products…”

And it is that without a doubt, one of the great events for tourism in Los Cabos and Madrid, is precisely the direct connection between these two destinations in a second confirmed flight from June to September.
