The Los Cabos Tourism Trust (FITURCA) and the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation, a non-profit organization directed by Charles Haley, former player and winner of five Super Bowls, announce their alliance to jointly encourage the inhabitants of Los Cabos the importance of closing the education gap and the way minorities are viewed.

 

Rodrigo Esponda, director of FITURCA; accompanied by Charles Haley, president of the foundation, and Roberto Gonzalez, president of Plataforma 360, confirmed at a press conference in Mexico City that from March 31 to April 2 there will be the participation of 35 active players belonging to the NFL Hall of Fame, among which Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott and Troy Aikman stand out, who will be able to live with boys and girls from the destination, through various activities, with the aim of supporting their education and allowing them access to better opportunities in your future.

 

“Los Cabos has established itself as the mecca of Golf in Latin America, with 18 exclusive courses designed by important great golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Tiger Woods that position it as a world benchmark for this sport, both for the quality of the fields, as well as the tourist infrastructure offered to the players. Joining efforts with the Tackle Tomorrow Foundation to carry out a golf event with NFL players in the destination is a great achievement that will put our destination in the eyes of the world," said Rodrigo Esponda, FITURCA's general director. .

 

During the weekend, the NFL stars will participate in a series of activities in the destination such as the Champions Clinic, a sports clinic in which the Los Cabos Sports Institute and the Sports Diplomacy of the United States Embassy will participate, where children will be able to live closely with their favorite players; Cocktails + Conversations, a private dinner with players and sponsors, both to be held on Friday, March 31. And for April 1st, the main event, the 1st Annual Los Cabos Celebrity Golf Classic, a tournament where invited golfers and players will be able to compete and coexist in one of the best golf courses in Mexico, the Solmar Golf Links.
