This Tuesday, April 25, 2023, the press conference of the Los Cabos 250 Tennis Open was held in its seventh edition, which will be held from July 31 to August 5 at the renowned Cabo Sports Complex.

With the presence of the municipal tourism director, Donna Jeffries; Thalía Agúndez on behalf of the Baja California Sur Ministry of Tourism: the director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda and Geoffrey Fernández, Director of the Los Cabos Mifel Open - ATP 250, revealed the details of this great sporting event long awaited in Los Cabos.

“We are very proud to confirm these players who have boasted a great level at the beginning of the year. The facilities are improving every year and the venue is ready to receive more than 30,000 people during the week of the tournament and we will also have the host hotel working for the tournament, which is great news” commented the tournament director, José Antonio Fernández.

In addition to the fact that great sponsors have joined, Geoffrey Fernández confirmed the presence of great players that make up the Top 20 such as the Greek Stefanos Tsisipas who ranks No. 5, Cameron Norrie (No. 14), Karen Khachanov (No.12), Tommy Paul (No.17) and the great champion of Acapulco, the Australian Alex de Minaur (No.19)

It should be noted that this is the first time that the Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsisipas has played in Baja California Sur, although not Mexico, since previously the winner of nine titles on the ATP tour had conquered the public in Acapulco.

On other issues, the organizer of the ATP 250 Los Cabos, reported that in coordination with the Los Cabos City Hall, social activities will continue in support of the communities that need it most in the municipality, as well as the upcoming construction of a tennis court in a property located in Cabo San Lucas, as confirmed by the destination's tourism department.
