The countdown is on. There are 85 days left until the World Wide Technology Championship kicks off with its first round, November 6-9, at the El Cardonal Golf Course, designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design in Diamante Cabo San Lucas. For the third consecutive year, Los Cabos will host this official PGA TOUR tournament, part of the FedExCup season and bringing together 120 of the world’s best golfers.

With 19 years of history, the WWT Championship has not only left its mark on the sporting scene, but also on the social scene. Since its founding, it has donated $3.8 million to charitable causes, and, since 2023, its impact continues in the local community, benefiting 14 civil organizations and generating a direct economic boost of nearly $25 million annually. The event involves more than 600 volunteers and approximately 700 people, including suppliers, production crews, and staff, consolidating its position as a platform for sustainable growth in the region.

“We are extremely excited and enthusiastic as the event approaches. The World Wide Technology Championship is much more than a golf tournament; it is a week of celebration and impact,” said Joe Mazzeo, tournament director, who highlighted the tournament’s commitment to sustainable development and community transformation.

The four rounds will be televised and distributed in more than 220 countries and territories, in 26 languages, through 44 broadcast partners and digital platforms, including Golf Channel in the United States and Latin America.

This year, the tournament will offer renewed experiences for attendees, such as VIP hospitality, a food and arts festival, additional Pro-Ams, live music, wellness and children’s activities, and sponsor activations.

Tickets are now on sale at tickets.wwtchampionship.com, with prices starting at $30 for general admission, which includes access to the course, food courts, and panoramic views of the Pacific. Additionally, two children under 15 are admitted free for each ticketed adult.

Hospitality areas include:

  • Tacos on 17 by La Lupita: Mexican cuisine, cocktails, and a festive atmosphere starting at $139.
  • Clubhouse at The Woods: privileged views, air conditioning, and complimentary cocktails starting at $139.
  • The Skybox: premium experience with a buffet and open bar, starting at $299.

Those who wish to experience the tournament from the inside can register as volunteers at wwtchampionship.com/volunteers.

With its combination of elite golf, unique experiences, and social impact, the 2025 World Wide Technology Championship reaffirms Los Cabos’ position as one of the sport’s premier destinations worldwide.
