With Record Participation, Los Cabos Reaffirms Its Position as the Leading Destination for Meetings and Incentives at IMEX Americas 2025

The Los Cabos Tourism Board (FITURCA) and representatives from the destination met with 1,600 event planners during their participation in IMEX Americas 2025, from October 7-9 in Las Vegas, consolidating Los Cabos as a strategic option for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry.
At this edition, 37 companies from the destination, including hotels, service providers, and DMCs, formed the largest delegation in Los Cabos’ history at IMEX Americas. Together, they participated in 1,200 business meetings, 220 of which resulted in promising business opportunities.
“We celebrate Los Cabos’ outstanding participation in this edition of IMEX Americas, with a 23% increase in the number of participating strategic partners compared to previous years. We also increased the number of business meetings by 140%, strengthening the destination’s presence and opportunities at this important international forum for the Meetings Industry,” said Rodrigo Esponda Cascajares, General Director of FITURCA.
“We offer a strategic advantage for planners looking for more than just a venue; we deliver a comprehensive ecosystem where luxury meets purpose. Our performance in 2024, with more than 8,200 meetings and nearly 5,800 incentive programs, demonstrates our ability to organize high-level events that generate significant results,” added Esponda Cascajares.
The Los Cabos delegation presented event planners with an exceptional combination of luxury, logistical accessibility, and a robust MICE ecosystem that offers memorable experiences and unparalleled value. In 2024, Los Cabos ranked among the top five preferred international event destinations in the United States and Canada, in addition to being recognized as the No. 1 aspirational destination in Mexico.
With a significant renovation of its luxury hotel infrastructure underway, Los Cabos continues to expand its offerings to provide unique experiences that generate a profound impact on attendees and contribute to the achievement of each organization’s objectives.
The future of the MICE segment in Los Cabos is strengthened with estimated investments of $900 million in luxury hotel infrastructure over the next three years, including the openings of the Park Hyatt Los Cabos (197 rooms, Q4 2025) and St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira (124 rooms, 2026), expanding capacity for high-demand events.
