Present in Los Cabos official route of the BFGoodrich SCORE Baja 1000 Cabo to Cabo 2026

Through the Municipal Directorate of Public Relations, presented on the road to the official route of the BFGoodrich SCORE Baja 1000 Cabo to Cabo 2026, off-road competition that marks a historical achievement for the municipality and for Baja California Sur, was carried out in November.
During the presentation, the municipal director of Public Relations, Víctor Montaño Gaytán, noted that the development of the official map of the 59 edition was carried out on Saturday 3 from October to the world level. It means that the competition is 965 miles, equivalent to 1,553 kilometers, which represents an important return for 300 teams that are pre-registered. As a result, we estimated an economic deficit of 35 million dollars during the week of activities scheduled from November 9 to 15.
Montaño Gaytán assumes that this event will generate an important economic activity for the municipalities of Los Cabos, La Paz, Comondú, Mulegé and Loreto, with benefits for different sectors. Puntualizó that the XV Municipal Administration continues to impel and attract international events that contribute to consolidating Baja California Sur and Los Cabos as world projection destinations.
For his part, the VIII governor Celestino Atienzo Beltrán, in his capacity as president of the Commission Edilicia de Turismo y Ciudades Hermanas, established that the realization of the Baja 1000 in its edition Cabo to Cabo represented a historical moment for its rise in sport and its economic impact for the municipality. We hope that this edition will continue and will become a permanent event in its destiny, and it will be a desire to respect the roads and maintain safety measures during the road, because Los Cabos continues to project at national and international level.
To conclude, the municipal director of Tourism, Ana Gabriela Navarro González, destacó the importance of atraer events of great relevance to promote the tourist activity in a time that requires impulso. It means that the road will bring together participants from more than 20 countries and from 20 states of the United States, which will allow it to project at the international level. Asimismo, reconoció el esfuerzo de Víctor Montaño y del XV Ayuntamiento para concretar el evento y expressó que la intención es que no se una actividad esporádica, sino que permanezca en el destinino amidne la colaboración entre empresarios, autoridades y futuros gobiernos.
