With the representation of governor Carlos Mendoza Davis, the general secretary of government, Álvaro De la Peña Angulo, inaugurated the Fifth International Marketing and Sales Forum called "Knowledge and Skills add Multiplied Attitudes", which was held from 7 to 8 of June in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur.

In the presence of the Executive President of the Sur de California Association of Timeshare Developers, A.C. (ASUDESTICO), Javier Olivares Velázquez, the state official, highlighted the realization of this type of events, which take place in Los Cabos and Baja California Sur, as the Mexican destination par excellence in tourism.

De la Peña Angulo, said that thanks to tourism and the natural wealth offered by the state, it has been consolidating its self as one of the preferred entities in the country to hold national and international events.

He also mentioned that this is the result of joint work and the sum of efforts by entrepreneurs, service providers and all three levels of government to promote projects that result in more investment as well as social and economic development to benefit families of Baja California Sur.

During this meeting, acknowledgments were given to those who were certified in the subject which fortifies the tourist companies that provide this service in the entity.
