Los Cabos becomes an innovative destination launching webinars for meeting planners and travel agents
Given the current context and after the extension of the closure of Los Cabos as a preventive measure, the destination remains at the forefront to connect with the tourism sector and accompany the industry during the period of confinement. To do this, it has started with a day of webinars aimed at different audiences such as meeting planners, travel agents, gastronomy lovers and curious about the destination.
During the month of May, experts in meeting planning, chefs, cocktail shakers, golf and wellness leaders will be giving online workshops, in English and Spanish, on different topics of interest for all those who want to discover Los Cabos from home.
"We want to continue connecting with travelers and accompany the tourism sector, launch an optimistic and close message. Los Cabos wants to be present in their lives, especially that they feel accompanied during this difficult time for everyone. In addition, these activities will allow us to strengthen ties with our audiences and generate expectations of returning to the destination as soon as this ends, "says Rodrigo Esponda, director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust.
The tourism sector wants to reiterate its commitment to the health, safety and well-being of both citizens and visitors. Therefore, in addition to continuing collaborative work with state and local authorities for everything related to health and safety measures, it will seek to open communication channels to interact with communities, accompany them and team up to jointly overcome the challenge of the pandemic .
