Iberojet Madrid-Los Cabos flights are postponed but will not be cancelled: Rodrigo Esponda
The director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda, said in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta and Cabovisión News that the route from Spain to Los Cabos of the Iberojet airline will continue with its plans to start operations, however, it was postponed from June 20 to July 18, 2022: “this is simply a change of operation because of everything the company is carrying out, the use of fuel, the situation in Europe…” Esponda said, explaining that due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, Spain has had to make some changes to many of its plans and itineraries.
Rodrigo Esponda clarified that there are two flights in September that will also be covered with all the operational adjustments required by the airline, however, whoever requires it may claim their money back or could change their flight with Iberojet.
He also spoke about the visit he had to Washington D.C. where the federal secretary of tourism participated and where really important conversations were held with government authorities and various associations regarding the new travel alerts, where the actions taken in Los Cabos were valued, which have yielded great results and statistics with the work punctual that is carried with the American consulate. Among other meetings that took place, they were able to talk with airlines and travel agencies.
