Anchor products will promote tourism in the states that make up the Alliance of the Sea of Cortez
The federal tourism secretary, Miguel Torruco Marqués held a meeting with the governors of Baja California, Marina del Pilar; of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo and the tourism representatives in Sinaloa, Nayarit and Baja California Sur to reinforce the promotion of the tourist activity of the entities that make up the Alliance of the Sea of Cortez.
Torruco Marqués highlighted the great importance of continuing to develop the anchor products of each of the country's entities, as well as the creation of high-level events to promote the arrival of national and international tourists, thus triggering tourism and the economy of the different tourist destinations in the country.
The secretary of tourism highlighted the Mar a Mar race in Baja California Sur, one of the most important factors in the state's tourist activity, but in addition, in this meeting the creation of a regional strategic intelligence agency was achieved to join efforts to reinforce the fishing richness of the area and the design of a regional infrastructure program to increase regional competitiveness.
