Actor Tenoch Huerta will receive the "Without Borders" Award at #LosCabos11
Mexican actor and producer Tenoch Huerta will receive the Sin Fronteras Award at # LosCabos11, for his outstanding career and his tireless work for the inclusion, diversity and visibility of Latin American talent in the global film industry .
Tenoch is a fundamental piece in some of the most important films of Mexican cinema of the last decade: Hell, Days of Grace, They Come Back, The Most Wanted, a film that we were fortunate to premiere worldwide in 2013; Güeros, recognized with the Los Cabos Competition Award in 2014; and Holy Week, winner of the Fox + Mexico First Award in our 2015 edition. Likewise, his participation in successful television series such as Mozart in the Jungle, Blue Demon and Narcos: Mexico stands out.
Proud of his roots, he has become a spokesperson for social impact against discourses of racism and exclusion. He has represented our country in co-productions such as Sleep Dealer (Mexico-United States) or I just want to walk (Mexico-Spain); in addition to the American films Nómadas, alongside Lucy Liu, Get the Gringo, with Mel Gibson, Camino, with Zoë Bell and The Forever Purge, recent installment of the “Night of Atonement” saga.
Winner of the Ariel Award for Best Male Performance in 2012 for Days of Grace, Tenoch Huerta joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in 2022 with the legendary character of Namor, for the long-awaited film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
