500-pound marlin caught during the second day of the "Los Cabos Billfish Tournament"
During the second day of fishing of the "Los Cabos Billfish Tournament" event in Cabo San Lucas, a 500-pound blue marlin was caught by angler Bill Pino of the "Reel Cast" team, placing them in the lead of the largest marlin jackpot.
The day before, a 349-pound black marlin was caught by fisherman Sergio Avilés Cota, ranking second in the largest species caught.
There is still one day of fishing left in this tournament that concludes on Wednesday, October 19 to carry out the award ceremony the next day, with a prize pool of 500 thousand dollars.
