It will be during the fall of 2023 that the El Cardonal golf course, located inside the Diamante development in Cabo San Lucas and designed by the 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods, will receive 132 professional golfers, their families, sports fans , media and an incredible worldwide projection, therefore, the municipal president of Los Cabos through the director of Tourism in Los Cabos Donna Lauren Jeffries Álvarez will be part of the logistics of the sporting event, for which the tables will begin Working with the areas involved in the security and development of the event.
During the meeting, Joe Mazzeo announced that together with the enormous tourist promotion of the municipality, according to the different studies carried out on the economic impact that the event would leave in the destination, it amounts to more than $24 million dollars directly through the organizers and those who come to the event, including the production and sponsors.
For her part, the president of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, Lilzi Orcí Fregoso, stated that on behalf of the association and its members, she is very interested in the activities prior to and alternate to the tournament, since this sector of the The population travels with their families to tourist destinations, so it is important to raise awareness through the different local media, so that the population is aware of one more event that comes to join the municipality.
