"Sea, air and land" the elements that make up the 4th IMEF Los Cabos Tourism Forum
During a press conference where Gabriela Gutiérrez, president of the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF) Baja California Sur chapter; Jesús Corral, IMEF member and moderator of Panel Mar; Lilzi Orcí, president of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, who will present her experience within the Tierra Panel, and Francisco Vilchis, Director of Administration and Finance of Grupo Questro and an IMEF member since its foundation, revealed the details of the IV IMEF Tourism Forum Los Cabos 2023.
The Westin Los Cabos Hotel will be the headquarters where great exponents of the tourism industry will share part of their experience with the attendees within various branches of the destination economy such as aquatic activities, real estate, air connectivity and other factors that influence the decision decision makers within large businesses, including the gastronomic sector, groups and events, and even wineries.
Beginning with his great experience and a brief description of the consolidation of Los Cabos as a top international destination due to the great tourist offers it offers, Jesús Corral explained that the Water Panel will be made up of Jacqueline Liceaga, a member of one of the pioneer families within the destination and who will share his experience as CEO of one of the most outstanding tourism activity agencies in Los Cabos, in addition, there will be the presence of Enrique Rivera CEO of Marina IGY and Arturo Musi, National President of the Association of Cruises, one of the great economic motives in the tourist development of this destination.
For her part, Lilzi Orcí, president of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, explained the importance that the meetings industry has gained, as well as romance tourism, a topic that she will share with Roberto Lyle, President of the Tijuana Development Council, and the businessman Gianmarco Vela who with Sunset Monalisa has highlighted one of the most important attractions in Los Cabos: gastronomy. It should be noted that it will be Yahwe García, CEO of Cabo Events, who will moderate this panel.
Francisco Vilchis, Director of Administration and Finance of Grupo Questro highlighted the importance of timeshare within Los Cabos, acknowledging the sales efforts of this segment that has fostered growth within the real estate world, a panel that will be made up of Ana Karla Trelles, director of operations Ronival Property Management, Cosme López Medina, vice president of Ares Real Estate and María Ocampo, senior accounts manager for Moxi a Global Montage Company. This panel will be moderated by the president of the Association of Developers José Ignacio Iturbide.
Last, but not least, is the Air Panel, with the presence of the director of the Los Cabos Trust, Rodrigo Esponda, who with his extensive experience in air connection issues, will moderate the panel in the company of Francisco Villaseñor, director of the Los Cabos International Airport and Sarahí Castro, General Director of La Paz Airport.
This great tourism forum that brings together the basic concepts that give life to the economy of Los Cabos, will feature a keynote speech by Jonathan Heath, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Mexico who will not only talk about figures, but also about the perspectives that Los Cabos serves being a dollarized destination.
