Last Saturday, December 16, the bay of Cabo San Lucas dressed up for the holidays with the fourth edition of the “Mar y Christmas” Christmas nautical festival, which brought together more than 30 boats decorated with motifs alluding to the season. The event, organized by the XIV Los Cabos City Council and Nautical Festivals, was attended by thousands of local spectators and tourists, who enjoyed a show of lights, music and pyrotechnics.

The Christmas nautical festival also included a popular festival on the walkway attached to the Breathless hotel, where crafts, Christmas items, candy, food and drinks were offered. In addition, two Christmas concerts were held on the esplanade of Plaza Puerto Paraíso and in the open-air theater of the Cultural Pavilion of the Nabor García Republic, with the participation of more than 150 artists on stage, including choirs, orchestras and soloists.

The general director of Nautical Festivals, Guillermo Rivelino, expressed his satisfaction with the success of the event, which has become a classic for Los Cabos and which attracts more visitors every year. Likewise, he thanked the support of the Los Cabos City Council, chaired by Oscar Leggs Castro, and the sponsors and collaborators who made the festival possible.
