During the year 2023, the tourist destination of Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, received more than a dozen awards and recognitions in various categories. Some of the recognitions during the last half of the year include:

1. TripAdvisor:   - The Grand Velas Los Cabos hotel was selected as "The Best Luxury Hotel in Mexico" by TripAdvisor.

2. Golf Digest:   - Three golf courses in Los Cabos, including "El Cardonal" in Cabo San Lucas, were recognized in Golf Digest's 2022-2023 ranking as the best in the world.

3. Condé Nast Traveler Readers Choice Awards - 13 local properties were named the best resorts on the eastern side of Mexico in Condé Nast Traveler's Readers Choice Awards.

4. Travel Weekly Readers Choice Awards:   - Los Cabos was named “Best Destination in Mexico” in the 21st edition of Travel Weekly's Readers Choice Awards.

These recognitions are added to others obtained by the Los Cabos Tourism Trust office and the inclusion of places such as El Arco de Cabo San Lucas and Roger Martínez and Casa Martín in the list of the 100 must-see sites in Mexico.

Rodrigo Esponda, director of FITURCA, highlighted the surprise and gratification of these recognitions, pointing out that they are the result of the joint work of the private initiative, public institutions and the Tourism Trust. In addition, he highlighted that the Travel Weekly award is given based on the opinion of travel agents, reflecting the consistent work in promotion and marketing in the United States.
