World Wide Technology

The organizers of the World Wide Technology Championship, an official PGA TOUR event, invite you to join the Volunteer Team, from November 4th to 10th at El Cardonal at Diamante in Cabo San Lucas.

Every year, hundreds of volunteers are an essential part of the spirit that is lived at the World Wide Technology Championship. Thanks to their collaboration, time and willingness, they have made our tournament a success for 17 editions. Whether you are a golf fan or not, being a volunteer offers the unique opportunity to be part of an international class event, to attract the eyes of the world to the wonders of Mexico, Diamante and Los Cabos.

“The tournament volunteer program is an incredible way to experience all the action that the PGA TOUR offers us from another perspective. Not only are you in the front row, but you are supporting the event behind the scenes and supporting the local community,” said Claudia Ramos, Volunteer and Special Projects Manager of the World Wide Technology Championship.

To apply, you only have to complete your registration and choose the committees of your preference. We have different committees divided into three main areas: COMPETITION SUPPORT (Pro-Am; Scorers; Banner Bearers; Starters), OPERATIONS (Hole Marshals; Practice Area; Distribution and Golf Carts; Clubhouse Marshals; Ops Taskforce) and TOURNAMENT SERVICES (Drivers and EVAC; Volunteer Services; Hospitality Services; Attention to Spectators).

During the first edition at the El Cardonal golf course in Diamante de Cabo San Lucas last year, hundreds of people were part of the team. Several volunteers participated for their love of golf; others, to support events within their community; some on behalf of their company, club or organization with an alliance with the event, as well as university students who were motivated to cover their hours of social service.

We have volunteers from all over Mexico and from different countries around the world. For more information, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or click here.
