The Los Cabos Tourism Trust is proud to commemorate World Tourism Day on September 27, highlighting Los Cabos as the Mexican destination with the greatest promotion at the national and international level in eleven priority markets: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany and Japan. This celebration highlights not only the beauty and diversity of the destination, but also Los Cabos' commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism.

Since the beginning of the year, Los Cabos has implemented a comprehensive promotion strategy that has impacted a significant number of people around the world. To date, the company has participated in more than 140 international events and fairs, held 35 seminars and organized 35 familiarization trips, attracting operators and agents from different markets. In addition, it has interacted with more than 4,000 travel agents in key markets, thus strengthening the destination's presence in the global tourism arena.

“World Tourism Day, this 2024, gives us a unique opportunity to reflect on the positive impact that tourism can have on our communities and the world. In Los Cabos, we are committed to promoting tourism that not only attracts visitors, but also contributes to the well-being and peace of our region. We invite everyone to discover the beauty and hospitality of Los Cabos, a destination where well-being and nature come together in perfect harmony,” said Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of FITURCA.

In 2024, Los Cabos hopes to close with the same numbers as in 2023, receiving 3.8 million tourists. The destination continues to focus on the diversity of activities that visitors can enjoy, thanks to its wide range of luxury offerings, exquisite and sustainable cuisine recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, and exciting outdoor adventures, among others.

With more than 550 weekly flights from 31 US destinations, 16 domestic ones, and soon 1 from Germany, traveling to Los Cabos has never been so accessible. The destination continues to expand its direct connections with Europe and South America, making it easier for more and more travelers to discover this paradise.

On World Tourism Day 2024, FITURCA reaffirms its commitment to maintaining Los Cabos as an international benchmark, not only for its luxury offering, but also for its leadership in sustainability and in the creation of unique experiences that generate well-being for both visitors and local communities. Los Cabos is a destination that is continually transforming to meet the expectations of the most demanding travelers, while protecting and respecting the natural beauty of the destination.
