$7 million at stake in the prestigious Bisbee's Black & Blue tournament
With the starting shot in front of the Cabo San Lucas goal, the most famous fishing tournament in Mexico began this morning: Bisbee's Black & Blue, in its 44th edition, which has 176 participating teams and a prize pool of almost $7 million for the three days of fishing that will conclude with the awards ceremony on Saturday, October 26. The starting signal was given on behalf of the Governor of the State, Víctor Manuel Castro Cosío, by the Director of FONMAR, Martín Inzunza Tamayo; the General Secretary of the City Council of Los Cabos, José Samuel Cisneros Peruyero and the Municipal Director of Public Relations, Maricruz Espinoza Díaz on behalf of the mayor, Christian Agúndez; Isaac Ocampo Vega, on behalf of the head of the Ministry of Tourism, Maribel Collins Sánchez; as well as Patricia and Wayne Bisbee, children of the founder of the tournament, Bob Bisbee.
