Spring Break 2025: Los Cabos ready to welcome more than 30 thousand vacationers
Hotel occupancy is expected to be 80% and a significant economic spillover for the tourism sector
With the beginning of March, the long-awaited "Spring Break" season begins in Los Cabos, one of the most sought-after tourist destinations by young students from the United States and Canada. From March 1 to 15, 2025, the arrival of more than 30 thousand vacationers is expected, who will take advantage of their school break to enjoy the beaches, entertainment and natural beauties that the region offers.
According to figures from the Los Cabos Tourism Trust (Fiturca), hotels - from exclusive resorts to options with all-inclusive services, favorites among spring breakers - will reach an occupancy close to 80%, similar to last year.
The economic impact will be significant, as each tourist will spend an average of $110 per day during the four days they stay at the destination, directly benefiting local businesses and workers in the tourism sector.
The restaurant sector, especially establishments located in the tourist area and on the beaches, estimates an increase in sales of 20% to 30%, with full houses at practically any time of the day.
Los Cabos is consolidating itself as the preferred destination nationwide for spring breakers, thanks to its entertainment offering and world-class services, which year after year attract thousands of young people in search of an unforgettable experience.
With the season upon us, authorities and service providers are preparing to provide attention and security to visitors, reinforcing the position of Los Cabos as one of the most dynamic and attractive tourist destinations in Mexico.
