FITURCA has a strategy to reactivate tourism in Los Cabos, once the contingency passes through Covid-19
Rodrigo Esponda Dir. FITURCA Los Cabos pointed out that there is an established strategy to reactivate tourism in the destination, once the contingency passes:
"We have an established strategy, we are in three phases, the first is the information stage, we have been promptly informing our commercial partners, airlines and tour operators of the measures at the destination, obviously the message is to act responsibly It is very important to us, we have even had our Advisory Council meeting with all of them ... reviewing what the plans are.
He said that the second stage will be implemented in two or three weeks, depending on how the situation evolves:
"It is a stage of remembrance, we want them to remember the destination, to remember the unique experiences they have",
And finally, the relaunch, repositioning:
"To recover connectivity, and recover the tourist flow, towards the destination."
He mentioned that they have had comments from airlines and business partners in the United States and Canada regarding that the most profitable routes in all of North America are those that drive to Los Cabos:
"And they are the first that they are going to start recovering and the first that they are going to have."
