The Secretary of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (SETUES), Luis Humberto Araiza López, participated as a panelist in the MPI International Hispanic Forum, organized by Meeting Professional Planner (MPI) Iberian, collaborating with the Mexico, Mexican Caribbean and Colombian chapters, exchanging opinions and experiences on the global vision of meetings and events, as well as the integration of destinations to the new normal and their professional needs.

In this hybrid forum (face-to-face and virtual) he managed to bring together organizers and leaders of this industry from more than 70 countries, where the secretary reported on the commitment and work of tourism entrepreneurs to reestablish the sector, through certifications such as the Distinctive H and Clean Point granted by SECTUR, as well as for applying local and national protocols in accordance with international standards, which allowed the entity to receive the seal of quality "Safe Travel" by the World Travel and Tourism Council.

MPI has a global community of 60,000 M&E professionals, has almost 70 chapters and clubs, with members in more than 70 countries around the world.
