SETUES and Dallas work on the last details for the new connectivity to La Paz and Loreto
The Secretary of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (SETUES), Luis Humberto Araiza López, in a virtual meeting with the Consul General of Mexico in Dallas, Texas, Francisco de la Torre Galindo, spoke about the launch of the new flights that will connect to La Paz and Loreto, with this North American city.
During this meeting, in which the director of the State Tourism Promotion Trust (FITUES), Jesús Ordoñez, participated and all the details for both inaugural flights were released, which will begin operations on December 17 with a weekly frequency, at charge of the American Airlines company.
Araiza López mentioned that the capital city has not received foreign flights for 13 years, hence the importance of this new route, since it increases the competitiveness of La Paz in the international market and allows the tourist diversification of the Magic Town of Loreto.
The secretary and the consul discussed the integration of a joint work agenda aimed at strengthening promotional efforts in the State of Texas, and that this affects the arrival of more visitors to the entity; as well as to disseminate the actions that the tourism sector is carrying out in matters of health, to protect the health of both tourists and the inhabitants themselves.
The head of SETUES reiterated his commitment to collaborate with the Mexican Consul General in Dallas, to strengthen tourism and commercial relations with Texas; in favor of both.
