The ninth edition of the Los Cabos International Film Festival concludes with success
The executive director of the Los Cabos International Film Festival, Alejandra Paulín, spoke in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta about the success of this virtual edition, which had great reach and acceptance among viewers.
She also commented that the programming and film selection chosen for this ninth show had positive reactions from the public, provoking good comments in this regard.
There were 19 films presented during this successful Festival, with sold-out tickets from the opening film to "Sherley" by Josephine Decker, the closing film that achieved excellent reviews.
The public in Los Cabos was number one in audience, said Alejandra Paulín, grateful for conserving her audience, adding the solidarity and understanding that there was after organizing an online festival due to the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.
As for the Los Cabos competition award, "Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Always" was the winner, a film full of emotions and drama, as it narrates the reality that some women go through in today's society. A film that allows you to empathize with people who have been violated, specifically adolescent women. Ale Paulín considers it an indispensable film for all parents.
