SETUES delivery of health tourism stamps in Los Cabos
The Secretary of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (SETUES), Luis Humberto Araiza López announced the delivery of 4 Health Tourism badges to businesswomen from Los Cabos, belonging to the Mexican Association of Women Heads of Companies, Cabo chapter; as well as 55 Punto Limpio stamps for members of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (CANACO SERVYTUR).
Regarding the Health Tourism seal, the official commented that this distinctive granted by the federal SECTUR recognizes companies that are developing synergy efforts with the medical sector and that know basic elements of care for health tourists, considering communication aspects , facilities, products, education, among others.
This certification contributes to raising the competitiveness of the industry in global markets, as it guarantees that better tourism services are offered in this segment, in accordance with world-class standards and requirements.
The head of the SETUES recognized the effort and commitment of the Cabeño business community, adding that to face the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is essential to be able to provide certainty and health security to both visitors and those who live in BCS, since Only in this way will economic recovery be achieved and it will pay to stop the contagion curve in the entity.
