Participation of women in tourism of great relevance for their growth: Rodrigo Esponda
The director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, Rodrigo Esponda, said in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta and Cabovisión Noticias that during the meeting of the World Travel and Tourism Council, held in Cancun, Quintana Roo, and which was held in the "hybrid" mode adapting to the new reality in meetings.
He reported that one of the main issues was the intensive use of new technologies, using applications where certificates of vaccination tests or negative coronavirus tests can be uploaded so that people can travel with greater ease and confidence.
Another interesting topic was the active participation of women in the tourism sector, due to its relevance in the industry, recognizing it for its growth, adding the public policies implemented in various countries, including the tourist destination of Los Cabos, to offer greater security to tourists.
Los Cabos has managed a public scheme that has placed Baja California Sur as a resilient destination, for which it also received this recognition.
