On demand for reservations and guests with membership increased this summer: Mauricio Salicrup
The president of the Administrative Council of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, Mauricio Salicrup, said in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta and Cabovisión Noticias that so far, hotels are in high demand and despite the fact that certain occupancy has been saved There are some hotels that during certain dates in particular must exceed 50% of the allowed capacity, this due to the fact that there are real estate developments and vacation clubs that have proprietary clients and it is not possible to limit the use of these. He pointed out that it is precisely during the summer when users assert their memberships, therefore, the demand has been greater and it has been distributed in the different resorts and hotels of the destination.
Mauricio Salicrup assured that there is a displacement of tourism, since Canadian tourism has not yet started, although national tourism continues to rise and this due to the correct application of health protocols.
He stressed the commitment made with the Coordinating Council, since there is an over-demand in tourist services and dates have had to be closed. On the other hand, he also mentioned that in various hotels, the decision has been made that employees who are in areas that are adapted to the home office can do so to prevent further spread of infections.
