#PonteLasPilas the new FITURCA campaign to protect Los Cabos from Covid 19
Rodrigo Esponda, director of the Los Cabos Tourism Trust, clarified in an interview for Los Cabos a la Carta and Cabovisión Noticias that the closure of the luxury hotels: Viceroy, Montage and Solaz located in Los Cabos, will be temporary. Specifically, in the case of Viceroy and Montage, the closure had already been scheduled for months in order to carry out internal improvements in its infrastructure, because, due to the high levels of its services, it is a good opportunity to expand comfort and the luxury in its operations, waiting for the next high season.
Another great event mentioned was that of the recently completed ATP 250 Los Cabos, which inaugurated the new Cabo Sports Complex stadium, which will not only allow sporting events, but also musicals, incentives and others that apart from having the best facilities, offers perfect accessibility for your visitors.
Rodrigo Esponda clarified, given the concern of society about the spread of Covid 19 in the third wave that has crossed the state of Baja California Sur since May, that tourists are tested for the virus to contain the outbreaks of infection at the same time that the vaccination campaign has been accelerated at the destination along with the correct application of the partners' protocols: "we have to be focused that these three elements will continue working because the Covid is not going to go away," said the director of FITURCA.
Finally, Rodrigo Esponda announced the #PonteLasPilas campaign focused on carrying out the three aforementioned elements, including avoiding social contact, maintaining a healthy distance and responsibility in conjunction with visitors and business partners to maintain the use of the protocols sanitary.
This campaign is found on all platforms and social networks of the destination, as well as in hotels, consumption centers and restaurants.
