Municipal authorities and the Integral Port Administration (API), will join forces to receive this August 23 approximately 3,000 tourists from the Carnival Cruise Ship Line, which means the restart of the activity of tourist cruises in the bay of Cabo San Lucas , after a year and a half of the suspension of activities as a result of the health crisis due to COVID-19.
The above was announced by the delegate from Cabo San Lucas, Manuel Salvador Castro Ceseña, who explained that he had the visit of engineer Fernando Hoyos Romero, general manager of the Cabo San Lucas API, who shared excellent news for the tourist destination, informing that as of August 23 of the current year, the first cruise ships will begin to arrive, expecting in this first arrival the influx of up to 3,500 tourists, which means a significant economic spill.
"The cruise will arrive complying with all the protocols that have been established and with 50% of its capacity, which is excellent news after a year and a half of not having the visit of tourists through the nautical route. API will request logistical support from the Los Cabos City Council, through the Municipal Offices and the Cabo San Lucas delegation, to receive the boat on August 23, "explained Castro Ceseña.
