With 126 participating teams, this morning at 8:00 AM sharp   the Shotgun start was heard marking the beginning of the 39th edition of the world’s richest fishing tournament the Bisbee's Black & Blue. This year even before the starting shot went off a record had already been set, prize payout had reached the zero despicable amount of 4.5 million dollars, jack pots not included.  Anglers coming mainly from the USA, Mexico and Canada met counterpoints from places as far as Japan, New Zealand and Australia, just to mention a few, but all in search of the catch that would lead them to score high points. It should be noted, that in order to continue conservation efforts on behalf of the species, catch and release is powerfully implemented. The Bisbee tournaments mark the beginning of the high season in Los Cabos and is expected to leave an economic roll of over 12 million dollars. The 39th edition awards dinner will be held on Saturday.For Cabo News Today Tony Perez
