BCS will participate in an important forum on tourism industry jobs, within FITUR 2020
From the fortieth edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair, Armando Figaredo spoke with the Director of the Tourism Trust of Los Cabos Rodrigo Esponda:
“Very happy with the activity we have had in this edition of FITUR over the years we have seen greater results and the meetings we have had, both with airlines and tour operators and wholesalers of the European market because they are increasingly more productive, obviously the flight that could be opened last November from London England could already review specific strategies and we have a way to test the result and the generation of market and strategies to continue growing and expanding in this market … “.
He mentioned that also today, BCS will have an important participation in a forum organized by Gloria Guevara who was Secretary of Tourism in the government of Felipe Calderón and, current CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council:
“The governor will be participating in the Forum organized by the WTTC and chaired by Gloria Guevara with a panel on jobs related to the tourism industry and what interested them is that BCS has been a national and worldwide leader in the creation of derivative jobs of tourist activity so there are interesting numbers to share. “
There will be world leaders who will share best practices in economic growth, employment and other social issues.
On the other hand, he stressed that in 2019 there was a 7% growth in air arrivals, and 17% in private aviation in Los Cabos.
In this edition of FITUR there are 253 thousand participants from 165 countries and at least eight thousand specialized journalists.
