World Meetings Forum (WMF) starts in Los Cabos this August 31
From August 31 to September 2, the World Meetings Forum (WMF) begins in Los Cabos, an international platform that promises to demonstrate how the reactivation of the meetings industry will take place, with the participation of businessmen, suppliers and organizers of conventions and congresses.
It is worth mentioning that the Meetings Industry makes a contribution of 20% of the annual hotel occupancy, so, according to Rodrigo Esponda, general director of FITURCA, a good recovery will be possible after the Covid 19 that has affected the destination so much in this year.
This event will boost the momentum of the meetings tourism sector as more than 250 industry specialists will give presentations at this great event in virtual and face-to-face conferences for three days, where the main hotel chains in the world, industry representatives and international suppliers will present their perceptions on the reactivation of this important sector, which represents 1.8% of annual GDP and which has a spill of 7 billion pesos every year.
This event has strict protocols for admission because to enter, guests must present a Covid 19 test to show that they are not carriers of the virus, they will present their medical certificate and follow all the instructions issued by COEPRIS before, during and after of your presentation.
The World Meeting Forum (WMF) will be held from August 31 to September 2 at the Hotel Paradisus Los Cabos at 6 pm.
