A day of dance and tennis at the Family Day of the Cabo Tennis Open

As part of the Play for All social responsibility program of the Mifel Tennis Open by Telcel Oppo, the second edition of Family Day was successfully held, a project 100% focused and designed to help the Los Cabos community. Local families in vulnerable economic situations were invited to a day of learning and fun.

Around 100 children and 70 mothers of families gathered at the Cabo Sports Complex (CSC) throughout a morning full of different activities that were intended not only to disconnect from their daily lives, but also to enrich their development and provide essential information. on health, education and sport.

 

Tennis clinics were held for the children who attended between the ages of 2 and 14, among them there were also young guests from the DIF home. There were talks for mothers about respectful parenting and nutrition, as well as a medical module for a general review, free haircuts and of course dance classes.

While the seventh edition of the Cabo Tennis Open is taking place, for Geoffrey Fernández, director of the ATP 250 tournament, Family Day is the most important thing, since they seek to leave a legacy through sport in the destination "In a personal capacity, the responsibility program Social is the most important.
