In response to the call for the fourth meeting of the Technical Committee of the Trust for the Collection of the Right to Environmental Sanitation in the municipality of Los Cabos, the general director of Ecology and Environment Raúl Verdugo Montaño, presented two core projects to the Government municipal, focused on the environmental conservation of the Estero San José del Cabo State Ecological Reserve.

In this regard, Raúl Verdugo Montaño explained that one of the proposals corresponds to implementing a solid strategy for the control of invasive exotic species with emphasis on the water lily and a second proposal consists of a pilot program of soil conservation and catchment works of water for the Estero de San José del Cabo, under the criteria of integrated watershed management.
